Rockhouse Land Eco-Farm-Health Project
After much consideration and planning, the Higher Synthesis Foundation has initiated a regenerative farm and ecosystem restoration project in rural Tennessee on a large tract of pasture and forest land with its own spring watershed.
Our overarching goals are to:
- Reestablish the native Tennessee biodiversity using regenerative farming and land management practices;
- Document the impacts of this work on the health and flourishing of humans, flora and fauna; and
- Educate visitors and the broader public informationally and experientially about the rootedness of human health in a richly healthy natural world.
Our intention for this project is to incorporate all three dimensions of the domains described in the foundation’s Rationale statement – health, food and ecosystems – into an integrated on-the-ground practice accompanied by data collection and research.
